Happy December

Happy December!!
(O.M.Goodness, I could hardly believe it!)
I'm linking up with Ms. Farley over at
Oh Boy, Fourth Grade
for December's Currently.
( I love these.)
Here's mine.
I've had refrigerator issues.  And, if you've ever been in my shoes you know all too well how incredibly frustrating it is to wake up in the morning to see that your almost new refrigerator is once again not working.  I don't take my fridge for granted anymore.  Opening the door to cool air and the sounds of it humming makes me happy.

I used some of my fundraising money to purchase the Judy Moody series and the Diary of A Wimpy Kid series in spanish.  I should have videotaped my spanish-speaking ELL's when I showed them the books.  They were speechless.  I love when that happens.

I remember how incredibly surprised I felt when December, 2013 came around last year.  Here we are at December, 2014.  It's so important to cherish every moment because each will come and go before we can open and shut our eyes.  I recently went to see a female comedian, Chonda Pierce.  She's hilarious.  If she's ever in your town, I recommend that you take a few hours to go see her.  During her show she mentioned 4 things she tries to do.  She tries not to get too hungry, too tired, too upset or too alone.  Sounds like a healthy life plan,
I think I'll adopt the same for 2015.

Wanting to give you all a great big digital hug of thanks for taking a few moments to visit my blog. Your visits mean the world to me.  Wishing and praying that you'll all have a lovely holiday and Christmas season.
Enjoy your family, friends, co-workers and pets.

I still have my Thanksgiving decorations up.  I should have, would have, could have switched decorations, but I've been procrastinating.  Why?  It's a whole lot of work and my Thanksgiving break was just that, a break!  So, now I only have 3 weeks.  Yikes!  I better get started.

Below you'll find a Christmas button you can grab to add to anything you'd like.  I made the animation through a website called, Picasion.  I love animated buttons.

Merry Christmas

  1. What a cute, animated button! I may have to try that out myself!
I love that your kids were so excited over the new books in Spanish! I have some kiddos that would love that, too.
