November's Currently

I always look forward Miss Farley's November Currently Linky Party over at . . .

An Apple for the Teacher

Here's my November Currently.

Listening to the breeze gently breathing outside my window.  I love that sound.

Loving the cool weather and my new boots.  I had been looking for a pair of boots for a while, and it was worth the wait.  These are so comfy, I could probably wear them every day.

Thinking about all the blessings I've been given.  Medicine to my soul.

Wanting to keep the holidays simple, but no less enjoyable and memorable.  When I stress myself out about things that are not even that important, it dampers the entire experience.  I want to keep my eyes fixed on the essentials, the rest can be tackled if there's time and energy for it.

Needing to begin my Christmas shopping so that it doesn't all mount up at the end.

Reading "The Names of God" by David Wilkerson.  I've read this book before.
Loving it as if it were the first time.

Sending you many blessings for this November, 2014.

Love,

  1. I am ready for boot weather too! I love to get a new comfy, cute pair of boots to wear and am excited the weather is ready for that! I was glad to read your reminder about keeping things simple and not stressing over the little things. I tend to overthink or overstress things that I don't need to - so I needed that reminder! I should also Christmas shop soon. I don't like when it mounts up those last few weeks of December! Happy November to you!

  2. I have a feeling that this holiday season is going to be a whole lot simpler than what I am used to. I'm not too excited for the circumstances that are causing that, but I am looking forward to the actual holidays. Good luck simplifying yours, and have a wonderful November!
